ArcelorMittal spin-off M-Soft N.V. goes international with a new look.
Success story of a local IT company growing internationally.
M-Soft, the leading software company for steel distributors/traders and steel service centres, has initiated a phase of further expansion in the international markets.
M-Soft NV, a Belgian software company located in Overpelt (Belgium), is combining a new release of its ERP-software with the launch of a new logo and new website, in order to better communicate its ambitious internationalization programme.
Paolo Senes, CEO and new owner of M-Soft, states: "We are proud of some early signs of success, such as the establishment of the first international partnerships in UK with M-Soft Uk and Italy with B&V Group and the increase of our brand awareness in the steel and metal distribution and servicing sector. Leveraging on our current financial results, with a record 2008, and the unique strengths of our ERP-product M-Soft-Steel for Metal Distributors and Service Centres, a product derived from a long-term collaboration with ArcelorMittal, we have moved from the Belgian market aiming to reach a full European scope first and then push into the global market.
But we do not want to forget our roots – which are not only in distribution but also in manufacturing with M-Soft Production(MSP) and accounting with M-Soft Account (MSA) - and our local market which is still the most important one. We keep investing by hiring more people and by constantly developing the products: for example, MSP clients will soon benefit from our brand new graphical planning module which is unique in the market, as it is directly connected to the database of our ERP"
Why does M-Soft want to grow internationally?
